In addition to our regular classes, Wisp Judo hosts competitions and boot camps.

Competitions are a great way for our members to pit themselves against each other in a friendly, safe and supervised environment. Club competitions also give those members who are looking to compete at events outside of the club a taste of how competitions are run.

Our club competitions are open to all club members and do not require that entrants hold a judo license. Any member wishing to take part in external events will need to hold a valid WJA/BJA license. For more information on competitions and licensing, speak to one of the coaches.

During school holidays, we arrange boot camps where the kids can come and spend a fun day at the club learning a little about the history of judo, practicing their techniques and playing fun judo-related games while the parents get to go and have a little free time.

In accordance with our inclusion policy, all of our club events are fully inclusive.
